The Jordan Valley is an elongated geographical depression located within both Israel and Jordan. This geographic region spans the entire length of the Jordan River – from the Sea of Galilee, crossing through the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, the lowest land elevation on Earth –and then continues through the Aravah Desert, all the way to the Red Sea, near the Egyptian border.
